By accessing or using the CyberX website (cyberxhubs.com) and any services provided by CyberX, part of X Group, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Description of Services
CyberX provides cybersecurity services including but not limited to:
- Security assessments and penetration testing
- Website security scanning tools
- Incident response and forensics
- Compliance consulting
- Security training and awareness programs
- Managed security services
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind unless specifically stated in a separate service agreement.
3. Security Scanner - Specific Terms
By using our Security Scanner tool, you agree to the following additional terms:
3.1 Authorized Scanning Only
You may only scan websites and domains that you own or have explicit authorization to test. Unauthorized scanning may constitute a criminal offense under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (UK) and similar laws in other jurisdictions.
3.2 Free Scanner Limitations
- Limited to 3 scans per user
- Basic security checks only
- Results are for informational purposes only
3.3 Pro Scanner Access
- Pro access costs £29 for 24 hours of unlimited scans
- Access begins immediately upon token generation
- Pro access is non-refundable once activated
- Tokens are single-use and non-transferable
- We reserve the right to revoke access for misuse
3.4 Disclaimer
The Security Scanner provides automated assessments and may not detect all security vulnerabilities. Results should not be considered a comprehensive security audit. For thorough security assessments, please contact us for professional penetration testing services.
4. User Obligations
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Use our services only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Not interfere with or disrupt our services
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not resell or redistribute our services without authorization
5. Prohibited Activities
You are prohibited from:
- Using our tools to scan systems without authorization
- Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities discovered through our services
- Using automated bots or scripts to abuse our services
- Sharing, selling, or transferring access tokens
- Reverse engineering our software or services
- Uploading malicious code or content
- Impersonating others or providing false information
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Pricing
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
6.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your complete payment card details.
6.3 Refund Policy
- Pro Scanner access is non-refundable once a token is generated
- For other services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- Contact us within 14 days for refund requests on consulting services
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on this website are owned by CyberX, X Group, or our licensors. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Create derivative works from our materials
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CyberX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service
- We are not responsible for any loss of data, business interruption, or security breaches not caused by our gross negligence
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CyberX, X Group, and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the service
Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.
